Renee Gastineau, MBA, ABC Founder/President
Renee is an entrepreneur with 20 years experience in the marketing, public relations and journalism industries. This unique combination experience provides a foundation for creative communication problem solving that supports clients' goals.
Early on in her career, Renee was a reporter and anchor for NPR affiliates in Virginia, North Dakota and Seattle as well as a stringer for the Associated Press. She founded Gastineau Communications in 1997 to focus on media relations and communication strategies for growing businesses. Renee has a particular interest in working with clients that subscribe to the philosophy of triple-bottom-line business success - they work to improve their communities and environment while providing economic value to the marketplace.
In 2004 Renee earned an MBA from Seattle University where she studied entrepreneurship and helped launch the Albers Business Ethics Initiative. She is an active volunteer in organizations that support global development, build community, and create opportunities for women entrepreneurs including Global Partnerships, MIT Enterprise Forum Northwest and NetImpact.
